Healing music for senior citizens
In 2022 we began working with the Safed municipality on a healing music project for senior citizens at home or in community centers.
Haverut healing musicians visit senior citizens and engage with them by playing music relevant to them. The warm and caring approach, openness and dialogue, combined with the songs that bring back memories of earlier times, enable participants to connect to their strengths, enhances their sense of connection and belonging, and alleviates loneliness.
