Rikma Program
Spiritual Caregiving Training Program
Since 2019 Haverut has been running the Rikma Program for spiritual caregivers, in collaboration with the Shamir Hospital (Asaf Harofeh) Nursing Academy. Training takes place in small groups that meet once a week for two years, for a total of 800 hours (400 of theory and 400 of practice)
Alumni of Rikma
After completing the program, participants can apply to the accreditation committee of the Israel Spiritual Caregivers association for accreditation.
Graduates of the first cohort are now practicing spiritual caregivers in hospitals and medical centers and facilitate seminars on the topic. Those of the second cohort are in the final stages of accreditation. Alumni are part of the Haverut community, who meet periodically for shared learning and development.
The third cohort was recently launched and we wish them the best of luck!
